New shows and Special Guest announced!
Following the release of their first live album, icons of the Australian Music Industry, ICEHOUSE, have today announced an additional 5 shows on their upcoming IN CONCERT tour taking the band to Toowoomba (29 January), Canberra (3 March) and A DAY ON THE GREEN at Mitchelton Wines, Nagambie, Vic on Saturday, 23 January.
Due to strong demand in Newcastle and Sydney, additional shows been added at the Civic Theatre in Newcastle (Friday, 5 February) and the Enmore Theatre in Sydney (Friday, 12 February) with limited tickets are still available at both venues for the existing Saturday night shows (6 and 13 February, respectively).
ICEHOUSE are also pleased to announce that the amazing Alex Lloyd will be their special guest on all the Newcastle, Melbourne, Sydney and Canberra shows.
ICEHOUSE recently released their very first live album, a 2-disc CD titled ICEHOUSE: In Concert which was produced by Iva Davies and ICEHOUSE bass player Steve Bull. The album features tracks recorded during various performances from the band’s touring schedule from October 2014 through to February 2015. Iva, Steve and the band sorted through hours and hours of recordings to choose the very best versions of each track to compile the album. With no overdubs or studio trickery, the album is a genuine representation of what it sounds like to be live at an ICEHOUSE concert and features the line-up that has been touring since the band returned to performing in 2011. There are also plans to release a triple-vinyl set later in the year.
While the dates below don’t currently reflect a Concert in Adelaide, SA fans can rest assured ICEHOUSE is working on something special for them which will be announced in the next few weeks.
