British songstress LUCY ROSE has already been announced as a special guest on Ben Folds’ upcoming Australian tour dates* this February, and today reveals she will play two intimate headline dates whilst in Sydney and Melbourne. Rose will head through Sydney’s newly refurbished The Lansdowne on Monday 5th February and Melbourne’s Northcote Social Club on Saturday 10th February. Tickets are on sale now.

A star on the rise, Lucy Rose creates sublime music that is melodic, emotive and thought provoking. With her third album Something’s Changing, released in July through Communion Records/Caroline Australia, Rose “wanted to put out something positive into the world”. The release was accompanied by a stunning short documentary, acting as a fly-on-the-wall account of Lucy’s debut tour of Latin America last year, which became a huge inspiration for the record.
“She has the ability to make listeners feel… Her most recent body of work shows Rose finding her sense of self, but makes it relatable to listeners. It’s that connection that solidifies Rose’s career on the folk world” – Paste Magazine

Current single ‘No Good At All’ charts a sunnier course, with something close to a soul funk chorus. Clash has called the song “… mature, finely-honed, it’s another example of her artistry reaching fresh heights.”

The latest music video from Lucy Rose is for ‘Second Chance’, starring Olympic Gold Medal winning cyclist Elinor Barker and directed by Joe Connor (Coldplay, Elbow, The Maccabees). Watch it here.

An enthralling live artist, Rose will land in Australia off the back of an extensive headline Worldwide Cinema Tour, which takes her through Asia, Europe, North America and the UK before the end of the year.
“Lucy Rose performed a beautifully fervent set, showing a much softer, vulnerable side to this heartfelt songstress.”Bristol Live Magazine

“She is a sincere and engaging character, clearly delighted to be here, who reflects the crowd’s energy, with a lively performance and an unrelenting grin”Buzz Mag

On her upcoming Australian dates, Lucy will perform songs from her stunning latest album, as well as her previous three releases.
