“Skunkhour truly were a band for the ages and we still miss them. Come back soon

and play Feed in full. We will turn up!” The Music, May 2016

The original line-up of Sydney’s alt funk legends Skunkhour return to the Metro Theatre on Saturday May 27 for one show only, playing their breakthrough gold selling classic album ‘Feed’ in its entirety, with tickets on sale now.

It will be the first time that Skunkhour have performed a track by track of the 1995 ‘Feed’ album, including the hits ‘Up To Our Necks In It’ and ‘Sunstone’, and it will be followed by a greatest hits set, featuring triple j Hottest 100 favourites such as ‘Weightlessness’ (1997), ‘Home’ (1999) and ‘Kick in the Door’ (2000).

Tickets are available now from Ticketek.

Michael Sutherland from Skunkhour said, “We are absolutely amped to be playing the Feed album in its entirety. We haven’t played some tracks on the album for many years. It will bring an exciting edge to another epic show in one of our all time favourite venues.”

The May 27 show follows a sold out show at the Metro in April 2016 with standout reviews.

Twenty-six years since they first formed, Skunkhour shows are rare – this will be their second show in five years – but still as good as they were in the early 1990s as one of Australia’s most exciting live bands!

For Skunkhour fans it’s a night not to be missed, as the band play some of their classic hits for the first time in years.

Skunkhour formed in 1991 and went on to release four albums – their self-titled debut in 1993, ‘Feed’ in 1995, ‘Chin Chin’ in 1997 and ‘The Go’ in 2001.
