BRIAN MANNIX (UNCANNY X MEN), DALE RYDER (EX-BOOM CRASH OPERA),
SCOTT CARNE (KIDS IN THE KITCHEN), ALLY FOWLER (CHANTOOZIES) & DAVE STERRY* (REAL LIFE)
Michael Jackson, Madonna, Duran Duran, Roxette, Billy Idol, Tina Turner, Bon Jovi, Robert Palmer… the eighties were undoubtedly a much more boundary-pushing era for music and pop culture as a whole. An era when the infamous words of “Eat My Shorts” was a narrative associated and popularised by Bart Simpson, though some may argue “The Breakfast Club”, and MTV created music’s superstars!
In the ultimate throwback to the decade of big hair and Rubik’s Cubes, the Ultimate 80’s Fluro Party will bring back those much loved 80’s anthems with a superstar band featuring those who helped popularize the music that was the landscape of the 80’s in Australia! Performing their own hits and the hits of other 80’s greats, this Fluro Party is the ultimate mix tape of 80s hits that has it all from Michael Jackson’s “Beat It” to Robert Palmer’s “Addicted To Love” to Duran Duran’s “RIO” and MANY MORE.
Featuring Uncanny X Men’s Brian Mannix, ex-Boom Crash Opera’s Dale Ryder, Kids In The Kitchen’s Scott Carne, The Angels’ James Morley, Chantoozies’ Ally Fowler and Real Life’s Dave Sterry (*Melbourne & Perth only), this party also features a live DJ, Fluro body painters, best dressed prizes and a superstar light and staging show.

Ally Fowler was one of the four female lead vocalists of the 80’s band Chantoozies, which had top 10 hits with a cover version of “Witch Queen” [#4, 1987] and original tracks “Wanna Be Up” [#6, 1988], and top 40 peaks for “He’s Gonna Step on You Again” [#36, 1987] and Kiss ‘n’ Tell” [#25, 1988].
