CROWDED HOUSE have today announced a further new show for their Dreamers Are Waiting Australiantour, adding Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Tuesday, November 22.  

Special guest is US singer songwriter, Cat Power, who joins them for their Melbourne and Perth shows.

The new Melbourne date follows the two sold out Sidney Myer Music Bowl shows that Crowded House played in April 2022 to a rapturous response from their Melbourne fans.

The Guardian said, “A joyous and long-awaited return”, The Age stated, “Half concert, half singalong, Crowded House filled the Bowl with love” and The Advertiser Adelaide proclaimed, “There’s a commitment to the purity of pop, the marriage of lyric and chord to create something close to perfect.”

Crowded House’s expanded November tour now includes shows in Darwin, Cairns, Townsville, Wollongong, Sydney, Tamworth and Canberra, as well as the rescheduled A Day On The Green shows at Bimbadgen in the Hunter Valley (November 12) and Mt Duneed, Geelong (November 19), as well as Hobart’s MyState Arena (November 17) and with three shows at Perth’s Kings Park & Botanic Garden (November 25 – 27).

The Live Nation pre-sale commences Wednesday, August 10 at 10.00am, running for 24 hours, with general public tickets on sale from 11.00am on Thursday, August 11.

The first leg of Crowded House’s Dreamers Are Waiting Australian tour in Aprilplayed to full houses and widespread critical acclaim, including a star turn at Bluesfest during Easter.

Dreamers Are Waiting is only Crowded House’s third Australian tour during the last 15 years.

Special guest for Melbourne on November 22 and at all three Perth shows is illustrious US artist Cat Power.
