DELTA GOODREM ‘Bridge Over Troubled Dreams Tour’ moves to September and October 2021

5 min read

TEG Live regrets to advise that superstar singer songwriter Delta Goodrem’s BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED DREAMS TOUR, set to tour Australia in April /May 2021, will move to September and October 2021.

This move has been rendered necessary due to the COVID-19 pandemic and associated restrictions. Whilst everyone involved is disappointed to reschedule the concert dates,  the safety of fans, touring crew and venue staff will take precedence.

The new tour dates are as follows:

Friday 24 September        Newcastle Entertainment Centre

Saturday 25 September    Royal Theatre, National Convention Centre, Canberra

Thursday 30 September   WIN Entertainment Centre, Wollongong

Saturday 2 October          Gold Coast Convention & Exhibition Centre

Wednesday 6 October      Townsville Convention & Entertainment Centre

Friday 8 October               Brisbane Entertainment Centre

Saturday 9 October           Qudos Bank Arena, Sydney

Wednesday 13 October    RAC Arena, Perth

Friday 15 October             Adelaide Entertainment Centre Arena

Saturday 16 October        Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne

Delta said today,“Performing live shows and being together in the one room with my fans means so much to me.  Since we announced the tour,  my priority has always been the safety and health of fans, crew and venue staff and we remain committed to ensuring the indoor concert experience is the safest and absolute best it can be.

We’ve given this a tremendous amount of thought and whilst we are incredibly optimistic of how things are improving,  out of an abundance of caution and to be certain of the best experience for fans coming to the shows and all of the staff and crew working on the tour, we’ve made the difficult decision to move the tour to September and October.  We are greatly encouraged by the improvement in the national touring outlook and whilst I would love to be touring in April, we believe that waiting an extra few months will put our hearts and minds beyond doubt.

I am overwhelmed with the support of people coming to the shows, so hang on to your tickets. Same show, same seats, new dates. I cannot wait to bring this tour to life and for it to be a huge celebratory night of fun, music, love and light.”

Tickets purchased for the April/May 2021 concerts remain valid for the rescheduled dates, with ticket holders not needing to take any action.

Tickets for the revised dates are on sale now.

All tickets are available from Ticketek with the exception of Wollongong, with tickets available from Ticketmaster.

The Delta Goodrem Foundation, in partnership with St Vincent’s Hospital in Sydney, helps fund medical research into blood cancers and auto-immune disease and $1+ GSTfrom every ticket purchased to the BRIDGE OVER TROUBLED DREAMS TOUR will be donated to the Foundation – visit deltagoodremfoundation.org
