Fiercely independent Australian rock label, Golden Robot Records is excited to announce the signing of four more outstanding Australian rock acts to their roster.  Joining them is Rose TattooSteve Kilbey,The Superjesus and Sarah McLeod.

One of the country’s most revered rock and roll bands, Rose Tattoo, is set to release a brilliant new live album from 1983 featuring the classic line-up later this year. The Tatts also have a national tour and new material planned for 2017.

Steve Kilbey, well known as the lead singer-songwriter and bass guitarist for The Church, who have maintained an international cult following over the years, is back in the studio recording a solo album all about Sydney.  Defined as his greatest work to date, the new offering features some of Australia’s best artists.

After reforming in 2013, a sell out tour across Australia as part of She Who Rocks in 2015, The Superjesus’ much anticipated EP, Love and Violence, is set for digital release in early July, which also features their two recent singles, The Setting Sun and St Peters Lane.  They’ll be hitting the road again later in the year and recording a new full-length album due for release in 2017.  After recently returning from an inspiring songwriting stint in New York City, Sarah McLeod is also currently recording her killer new solo rock album, slated to hit shelves early next year.

Golden Robot is exactly the label this country needs. In a time when Aussie Rock n Roll has been pushed up the back behind the discount Coco Pops, GRR is actually taking a chance on new acts and resuscitating established acts that have been lost in the technology movement. They are a beautiful, supportive family that all rock up to everyone’s gigs and bust ass for each and every act on the label. I haven’t seen passion like this since the 90’s. God bless rock n roll and God bless Golden Robot.” – Sarah McLeod

Golden Robot is very excited to be working with some of the top echelon of Australian bands and bringing Aussie rock back to the world stage,” says GRR President and Founder, Mark Alexander-Erber.

With 15 new albums of Aussie music scheduled for release both nationally and internationally over the next 12 months, Golden Robot Records is living up to its mantra and creating a new home for Australian rock.
