Catch You Falling is the second single to be lifted from JON STEVENS new solo album, WOMAN. A classic rock influenced track, Catch You Falling encapsulates the energetic vocals of Stevens with guitar riffs reminiscent of the greats.
It’s a song about the human condition of going within and questioning everything when we find ourselves in a place of isolation. It’s in that isolated space that we go through a whole range of emotions – who am I, what am I, how did I end up here, what is my purpose?
“In that moment when you feel all alone and feel like you’re not gonna make it…you pray, you meditate, you wake up to a new day and have another crack at this tenuous thing called life,” says Stevens. “Never give up, there are angels all around!”
As with the album cover, talented artist Gabrielle Pool, blasted the song and created the amazing painting for the single cover, summing up the emotional content of Catch You Falling perfectly.
