The BAY CITY ROLLERS featuring Les McKeown are just about to start their Australian and New Zealand Tour (full tour info below) and Les has commented on the recent passing of former bandmate and friend Alan Longmuir.
“It’s extremely sad that one of the founding members of Bay City Rollers and our very good Friend Alan Longmuir passed away on Monday 02/07/2018 at 06.00hrs GMT. Our love goes out To Eileen and Alan’s family brothers and sisters who were with him till the very end.
Alan was a true gentleman and a brilliant musician. I know I speak on behalf of all the Bay City Roller fans across the world when I say we love you Alan and will miss you dearly.
Our upcoming Australian and New Zealand Tour will be dedicated to the music we created with Alan as the Bay City Rollers. I will see you all very soon”
