In just two weeks, Let There Be Rock – Orchestrated hits Australia for four special shows featuring a who’s who super band backed by a 30-piece symphony orchestra powering the classic hits of AC/DC!

Without question, AC/DC are one of the greatest rock bands in history. Their mammoth power chord roar became one of the most influential hard rock sounds of the ’70s and is synonymous to rock culture to this day. It continues to be one of the defining sounds of rock and metal, and combined with the larynx-shredding vocals of Bon Scott (1974 – 1980) and Brian Johnson (1980+), the band enjoyed commercial success well into the 2000s, even up until 2016 selling out stadium shows across the globe.

LET THERE BE ROCK – ORCHESTRATED is a world first and brings to light a unique production scale that brings the thunderstruck sounds of AC/DC in to a world all of its own, featuring a line-up of some of the world’s best rockers coming together to form a super group and backed by a 30 piece Symphony Orchestra to power out the biggest sound ever created! Triumph Motorcycles have been associated with rock ‘n’ roll since the 1950s when they became the rockers bike of choice – even partnering with AC/DC on their Black Ice album release. Simply by purchasing a ticket to a Let There Be Rock show, patrons will go in the draw to win a Triumph Bonneville Street Twin featuring a Brat Tracker Inspiration Kit (valued at $18,000.00).

You want Rock? You want Grit? You’ll hear the full orchestrated rock arrangements of many AC/DC classics including ‘Highway To Hell’, ‘You Shook Me All Night’, ‘T.N.T’, ‘Whole Lotta Rosie’ and so many more in this two-hour concert production. Imagine ‘Back in Black’, the seminal anthem of generations, with the power of the 30 piece Symphony Orchestra conducted by Australia’s most celebrated conductor – George Ellis, behind one of the most rocking super bands that can be assembled!

Titled in recognition of AC/DC’s fourth Australian album released in 1977, Let There Be Rock – Orchestrated will feature ALL the hits from AC/DS’s career from both Bon Scott and Brian Johnson era’s. With a second to none line-up featuring AC/DCs own Simon Wright, Noiseworks founding bassist Steve Balbi, Guitar legend Joel McDonald, former bassist for ARIA Hall of Famers The Angels James Morley, Mondo Rock bassist Paul Christie, and featuring the vocal stylings of Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens of Judas Priest and introducing the most powerhouse female rock vocalist in the country Cynthia Gallie on lead vocals, this show will prove to be one of the most exciting Rock ‘N’ Roll events to hit Australia this year.

Tim ‘Ripper’ Owens is a Grammy nominated American hard rock singer who first gained attention as the lead singer of Judas Priest (1996-2003) and then Iced Earth and Yngwie Malmsteen. Tim currently tours the World as a solo artist and performs as the Lead Singer for the band Charred Walls of the Damned with Richard Christy from the Howard Stern show. Tim has also started a super group called Project Rock with James Kottak (Scorpions), Keri Kelli (Alice Cooper, Slashes Snackpit, John Waite) Rudy Sarzo (Whitesnake, Quiet Riot, Ozzy Osbourne, Dio) Teddy Zig Zag (Guns N’ Roses, Carol King). The movie Rockstar (featuring Mark Wahlberg and Jennifer Aniston) was loosely based on Tim’s time in Judas Priest.

Steve Balbi has a reputation not only as a beautiful singer / songwriter and an unparalleled front man but he has also transcended generations in acts like The Electric Hippies, Noiseworks, Universe, Move Trees, Mi-Sex and recently in a brand new band called Moon. Steve Is in touch with the raw magic needed that makes people love and need live music. He is held in high regard across the Australian music industry and has also been credited with some magnificent producing credits to his name.

Drummer, Simon Wright joined AC/DC after the departure of Phil Rudd in 1983. AC/DC recorded three albums with Wright in the mid-late 80’s including ‘Fly On The Wall’, ‘Who Made Who’ and ‘Blow Your Video’. Wright left the group in 1989 to join American heavy metal band, Dio.

As one of the nation’s most sought after players, Joel McDonald sits at the tip of the spear of Australia’s most influential guitarists. Being lead guitarist and musical curator for Frankie’s World Famous House Band (of cult venue Frankie’s Pizza, Sydney), both locals and savvy visitors alike bear witness to the cutting edge of Hard Rock guitar – a residency that has seduced some mighty collaborations with acts including KISS, Guns N’ Roses, Whitesnake, The Cult, and Five Finger Death Punch!

James Morley achieved fame as a member of legendary Australian band and Australian Hall of Fame inductees The Angels. Their most successful period saw them achieve multi-platinum album sales and a solid spot at the top of the Australian Charts. Since then Morley has recorded and performed with an array of the world’s best artists from bands such as AC/DC, Richard Clapton, Def Leppard and Meatloaf, and featured in the 2004 movie ‘Thunderstruck’ playing the part of iconic AC/DC guitarist Angus Young.

Paul Christie came to prominence as a member of the second and most successful line-up of the group Mondo Rock, which was founded by former Daddy Cool leader Ross Wilson. Christie performed on many of the group’s hits in the early 1980s including “State of the Heart”, “Cool World”, “Summer of ’81”, “Chemistry”, “No Time”, “The Queen and Me” and “In Another Love”. After leaving Mondo Rock, Christie founded the all-star touring group The Party Boys in November 1982 which featured the talents of high profile Australian artists, James Reyne, Richard Clapton, Shirley Strachan, Marc Hunter, Angry Anderson and John Swan.

Cynthia Gallie is fast becoming Australia’s newest dynamic female rock vocal sensation. After leading the charge for the “Bon But Not Forgotten” support slot in July 2017, Cynthia captivated audiences with her mind-blowing vocals that rival the best. Compared to the likes of Australian iconic bands The Divinyls and The Baby Animals as well as 70s rock band Heart, Cynthia does justice to Bon and Brian like never before. Have you ever heard someone belt out Back in Black like Brian did in 1980? You will now!
