FEATURING 13 YEAR OLD, JAGGER
ALSO OPENING FOR THE SUPERJESUS IN SYDNEY & NEWCASTLE
Prog-rockers, MOON are set to headline at The Oxford Circus in Sydney with special guests, The Kvlts of Vice, on Thursday, October 6, after having recently released their much-anticipated third single, ‘Ronnie Biggs’ from their album, “The Orbitor”, and hot off the announcement of their other upcoming Sydney and Newcastle shows with Golden Robot Records label mates, The Superjesus and The Art, on October 7 and 8.
What some may not be aware of is that the drummer for prog-rock band, MOON, is 13 year old Jagger, widely acclaimed across Australia as the country’s #1 drummer under 25. The drumming prodigy has spent many a weekend sharing stages with some of the world’s best artists, including Rose Tattoo and Limp Bizkit, as well as members from such legendary bands as Whitesnake, Guns N’ Roses, and LA Guns. In addition to that, Jagger is a fulltime member of MOON and his other band, punk outfit, The Kids.
His unconventional music career, love of music and dedication to his craft at such a young age, has already seen him tour the world, win countless competitions, and become the youngest ambassador ever for many brands, but most noticeably, legendary drum brand DW.
With his time split between school in Sydney, traveling to Europe where he’s laid down tracks recently in Amsterdam, and jetting across to America where he’s been recording, playing live in such venues as The Famous Whiskey Au GOGO in LA and working with some of the world’s biggest musical brands, Jagger is gearing up for another huge twelve months.
Set to hit the stage at The Oxford Circus on October 6, then to open for The Superjesus on October 7 at the Oxford Art Factory in Sydney and October 8 at the Cambridge Hotel in Newcastle, MOON is led from the front by guitar legend’s Steve Balbi (Noiseworks, Move Trees) and Mark Ward (Pearls & Swine, Plastic Fingers), with Jagger on drums.
