After the highly successful single releases of ‘Two Young Hearts’ and ‘You Make Me Feel So Good’, Dino Jag is excited to unleash his ‘Breakthrough’ EP, today 25th November, 2016.

“Breaking new grounds, Dino Jag combines harmonious tones with melodic guitars, as they take over the world , one note at a time.” – Paste Magazine

Fresh off of the release of his latest music video, for the award winning track ‘Two Young Hearts’ and the massive response from national radio including Grant Broadcasters, KIX Country network, for ‘You Make Me Feel So Good’,  Dino Jag has been riding a series of triumphs and massive media coverage. The ‘Breakthrough’ EP was produced by Jeff Bova, known for his work with Michael Jackson, Iron Maiden, and Blondie, and features performances from legendary musicians like Aaron Sterling (Drums – John Mayer), Corey Britz (Bass – Bush), Tim Pierce (Guitar – Bruce Springsteen), Jeff Bova (Keyboards – Michael Jackson), Carroll Hatchet (Backing Vocals – Bette Midler) & Bernard Fowler (Backing Vocals – The Rolling Stones) to play on this EP.  Breakthrough has been built up for months now, and promises to be one of this Australian superstars most notable releases to date.

Dino Jag has always been a prominent force in the global pop rock scene and these past few years have been especially kind to him with countless tours and the chance to share the stage with the best in the business. Since his stratospheric launch in 2005 with his cover of “Play That Funky Music” which charted at #8 in Australia and #34 in Denmark he has remained a vital figure in Australian music. His 2013 release, “Calling All The Saints” was the #1 best seller on the Oxfam America “Music For Good” program. This led to him being nominated “Best Male Vocalist” for three consecutive years at the South Australian Music Industry Awards (SAMIA) while fronting Adelaide funk/rock band Stolen Waters who entered the national charts with their reworking of the Stevie Wonder classic “Superstition.”

The hype, up to the release of Breakthrough, has been simply titanic.  Impose Magazine wrote that Dino Jag, “possesses an appeal that is far-reaching and rather impressive.” Meanwhile, Obscure Sound praised his “Wide vocal range.” Celebmix was especially pleased with his work, gong so far as to say. “He embraces music to his very core and continues to shape his career while exploring new sounds in his own electrifying way. To become a true success, music has to be a passion not a chore.”  Music Networks’ review of the single ‘You Make Me Feel So Good’ wrote, “Dino Jag truly feels like 2016’s equivalent of Steve Earl’s Copperhead Road, equaling passion with raucous guitar interplay”.  So in our eyes, Dino Jag is on a smashingly good path.

Suffice to say – this artist is extremely excited about the future of this project and the release of Breakthrough.
