Due to high demand, iconic Australian band Pseudo Echo are excited to announce the addition of a second show at Palms at Crown in Melbourne for November 15, three shows in Western Australia, and additional dates in April and May for their Sydney and Melbourne fans in honour of their biggest album’s 40th anniversary.
Fans can relive the songs and sounds that defined an era when the tour kicks off on the Gold Coast on February 7 followed by scheduled performances in Brisbane, Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne, Wollongong and Canberra and Perth.
The record ‘Love An Adventure’ saw the band gain world-wide success and a global fan base spanning Australia, USA, Canada, Europe and Asia. It spent more than six months on the US Billboard charts and was packed with hits including ‘Don’t Go’, ‘Love An Adventure’, ‘Living In A Dream’ and the blockbuster ‘Funky Town’ which spent seven weeks at #1 in Australia, six weeks at #1 in New Zealand, topped the charts in Canada, and hit the Top 10 in the US, UK, Sweden and South Africa.
The band have also released a new single ‘Love An Adventure (Machine Remix)’. (Out now). Produced by lead singer, Brian Canham, the release is a taste of things to come from the band and sees the track take on a much darker, more electronic direction. Brian explains, “We incorporated elements of techno and industrial as well as the featured dark low-tuned guitar … in contrast to the original which had no guitar. There is a homage to the original version, incorporating the disco style string stabs originally recorded using the MSO.”
