Sound Australia leapt out of lockdown with late 2020’s Savannah Summer Series, successfully executing the world’s first COVID Safe country music festival, before doubling down and announcing the much larger Savannah in the Round country music and camping festival to be held in Mareeba this coming October. Now, in close partnership with the Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort, the combined team is thrilled to unveil details of a brand-new live music event, serving up the perfect cornerstone for a Cairns & Great Barrier Reef region holiday experience.
A completely unique event taking place poolside at the Novotel Cairns Oasis Resort on Friday 23 and Saturday 24 April, the Savannah Summer Series Pool Party is a gigantic weekend packed with live music, fresh cocktails and endless summer vibes. ‘And best of all’ says the hotel’s General Manager Scott Grant, ‘the fun’s served up right outside your door at one of the Tropical North’s most sought-after hotels.
