One of Australia’s most successful bands and exciting live acts, Sheppard are heading back to the stage to perform the biggest tracks from their hugely successful third album Kaleidoscope Eyes as well as their greatest hits spanning almost a decade.
The Brisbane-based band have chosen the much-loved Tivoli to return to the stage on Friday 3 September, following their exclusive album launch event at the Fortitude Music Hall in February and more recently the State of Origin pre-game show at Suncorp Stadium to rousing critical praise.
Sheppard have performed all over the world to millions of adoring fans who have fallen in love with their amazing stage presence, live vocals and high energy. Whether it’s a packed stadium or an intimate gig, they have a knack for reaching everyone in the crowd and leave them wanting more.
When not touring the globe as a headline act, Sheppard have opened for Justin Bieber, Robbie Williams, Little Mix, Keith Urban and Elton John.
Fans can expect to hear all their favourites such as the mega-smash ‘Geronimo’, Brisbane’s anthem ‘Coming Home’, new hits ‘Die Young’ (36 million streams), ‘Learning to Fly’ (11 million streams globally and still in the Dutch airplay charts top 30 after 6 months) and ‘Symphony’ (10 million streams and soon to be certified Gold in The Netherlands) as well as plenty of surprises.
Closing in on the phenomenal mark of one billion streams globally, the band may have reached dizzying heights in the music world but remain very much committed to their home city who have been supporting them since day one.
“By launching this next run of live shows in Brisbane, we get to say thank you to our local fans who have been with us since the very beginning and deliver a world class show in a venue we love so much,” says George Sheppard. “We cannot wait to be back on stage at The Tivoli doing what we love so much and having the energy of a live audience there to sing with us.”
Sheppard will be supported by rising star, Mia Rodriguez, who at just 18 years of age has taken the pop world by storm. With over 2.4 million followers on her socials and a massive 60 million likes on TikTok, Mia will wow and entertain like very few can, providing the perfect build up to Sheppard taking the stage.
