THE DEAD DAISIES *** Mega Hard Rock Band’s Phenomenal New Studio Album & Single ‘Make Some Noise’ Unleashed August 5th ***

The Dead Daisies’ excellent new album and single ‘Make Some Noise’, released today August 5th, on Spitfire Music / SPV, way more than lives up to the legendary ‘classic third single and LP syndrome’ epithet. Packed with killer tunes, (and defiantly no ‘filler’), this album grabs you by the musical throat. From the moment the opening bars crash out of the speakers, to the anthemic answer to Queens’ ‘We Will Rock You’ track, ‘Make Some Noise’, it just doesn’t let go until the very last notes fade away.

Make Some Noise’, which was superbly recorded and produced by Marti Frederiksen (Aerosmith, Def Leppard, Mötley Crüe, Buckcherry) in Nashville in February and March 2016, contains ten originals plus two inspired new incarnations of The Who’s ‘Join Together’ and Creedence Clearwater Revival’s ‘Fortunate Son’.

Make Some Noise’ has already elicited much praise online; Music-news.com state that “The band founded by guitarist David Lowy, has clearly gone for a massive, solid and uncompromising sound. Essentially, if you haven’t thought about strumming it like Slash, bashing it like, Grohl, or moshing to it like a maniac, then the 12 track LP hasn’t done its job. 4/5”.

Planetmosh.com said: “There are a multitude of tracks on ‘Make Some Noise’ which have the potential to be instant classics from any die-hard rockers perspective. The Dead Daisies are a force to be reckoned with.”

Fronted by John Corabi, Make Some Noise marks the recorded debut of former Whitesnake Guitarist Doug Aldrich; other ‘snake alumni Marco Mendoza and Brian Tichy are also involved. The results are fiery with the likes of ‘Mainline’ and ‘We All Fall Down’ buzzing with adrenaline.” Rolling Stone Magazine Australia

Silver Tiger Media wrote: “This album is very difficult to summarise in one sentence purely because it is so astonishingly brilliant from start to finale. With the classic harmonica sprinkled throughout to accompany the brutal hard rock elements, from classics covered beyond perfection, all the way to the overwhelming sensation that nothing else on the shelf may be selected as frequently as this collection, it is astoundingly extraordinary.   All the hallmarks of a brilliant brand made manifest in one magnificent chef d’œuvre.  This album is an essential addition to EVERY MUSIC COLLECTION IN THE UNIVERSE. Bewilderingly brilliant.  I will not be the only one singing the praises of The Dead Daisies latest collection and Making Some Noise as regards their incredible work.”

The Dead Daisies are:- Doug Aldrich (Whitesnake, Dio), John Corabi (Mötley Crüe, The Scream), David Lowy (Red Phoenix, Mink), Marco Mendoza (Whitesnake, Thin Lizzy) and Brian Tichy (Ozzy Osbourne, Foreigner).

The Dead Daisies continue their album tour throughout Europe, then it’s onto the U.S. KISS tour and Kruise, solo dates in L.A & New York, Loud Park – Japan, and another tour of Europe in November and December, co-headlining with The Answer:- http://thedeaddaisies.com/shows/
