The entertainment line-up for the July 29 market features:
Gay Paris: The distinct sound of explosive Sydney four-piece Gay Paris has led to them becoming one of the hardest touring acts in Australia. With a pedigree in all kinds of devilry, the boys well know how to shake your bones into a hole and keep ’em there. If you know what’s good for you, you’ll follow ’em to the river.
Papa Pilko and the Binrats: describe their sound as Voodoo Soul & Alt Country Rock N’ Roll. This label stems from the vast array of sounds that the band produces, which is hard to pin down at the best of times. The band has earned a reputation as one of Australia’s standout live acts.
West Texas Crude:Formed in 2000 ‘The Crude” are one of Brisbane’s favourite and hardest working Rockabilly and Rock and Roll acts, headed by well known guitarist and front-man Andy Dashwood. They are pumped yet again to be heading for Sydney.
Red Rollan Deuces: The combined forces of local Rockabilly acts The Drey Rollan Band, Cruisin’ Deuces and That Red Head present a tribute to Rockabilly Guitar, exclusive to the market and long awaited, we can’t think of a better group of musicians to explore the genre –
