These iconic rock musicians will visit a menagerie of contemporary visual art at Sydney’s Mosman Art Gallery with a group exhibition sharing the same name as their iconic rock song that explores the fascination of the animal as both subject and inspiration: WILDTHING: Animals in Contemporary Australian Art.

Through the work of twenty-five leading Australian artists the exhibition, WILDTHING considers the symbiotic relationship between humans and animals and nature, opens discussions on our contemporary relationships with domestic creatures; and considers attitudes of the wild and untamed; and to concerns of species loss and ecological degradation. This thought-provoking exhibition finishing this Sunday 27 November. WILDTHING is presented in tandem with celebrations of the 100th Anniversary of Taronga Zoo.
