TROY KEMP & VIPER CREEK BAND to headline COUNTRY AT THE CAMP

2 min read

Country At The Camp was born quite simply out of the love of a good time and of course, great Country Music.

After years of attending Festivals and Concerts, an idea was hatched.

Then followed by extensive research, the wheels were set in motion.

The goal was to keep the event affordable, laid back and include a line-up of our favourite Country Music artists.

The Drovers Camp at Elderslie Rd, Branxton was our ideal choice for the venue.

Clarry “The Drover” agreed to give us a shot at holding the event.

The beautiful stage hidden in the bush at the foot of a natural ampitheatre landscape provided a unique setting for this dream to unfold.

After many tears, tantrums and some hard learnt lessons on November 28, 2015 the first ever Country At The Camp was launched.

The line-up included Drew McAlister, The Viper Creek Band and Christie Lamb, just to name a few.

The laid back atmosphere and line-up of artists proved effective.

A great day was had by all and immediately it was known that the first Festival would not be the last, this was the start of something wonderful.

2016 is shaping up to be bigger and better and a sign of things to come.
