Two 80s icons together for double header shows in Melbourne & Sydney

2 min read

Whether you grew up in the eighties, nineties or noughties, the iconic patrons of pub rock, Choirboys, and new wave nasties, Mi-Sex, are instantly recognisable, and have joined forces to get back out into the live music scene this March in Melbourne and Sydney.

Formed in New Zealand in 1977 Mi-Sex pioneered the introduction of electronic instruments into the rock genre, changing music with a string of hits including ‘People’, ‘Blue Day’ and the international hit ‘Computer Games’.

Unstoppable in the pub rock scene, Choirboys have been touring over the last couple of years with a tribute to AC/DC and more recently the release of their new LIVE album, Pub Rock 2017, which includes the runaway party anthems, ‘Boys will be Boys’ and ‘Run to Paradise’.

In a REAL double header, both bands are headlining this run, bringing punters a full night of music nostalgia, entertainment and their biggest hits that catapulted the Australian sound into the ear holes of the entire world.

Remember the music that changed your life…? It’s back!
