HEY LOVE – OUT NOW!
Canadian country artist, Amy Nelson has struck a distro deal with Social Family Records, with her first single through the indie label, Hey Love, dropping today.
The energetic international performer burst onto the Australian music scene earlier this year with the single, Ish, charting across the nation. The Canadian who has recently spent more time Downunder than in her native land, is back with a fun, catchy, upbeat track. Nelson’s signature tongue-in-cheek lyrics, coupled with a great modern production, pair up to provide the perfect summer track.
Confident, super strong and a little sarcastic, Nelson performs music that sounds just like her personality, with her songwriting reflecting her life experiences – the good, the bad and the stuff most people don’t talk about. Fueled by her self-proclaimed “bad luck in love” and her “do it yourself” attitude, she is a whirlwind to be reckoned with and often referred to as the hardest working country artist in her home province of Saskatchewan, a title Nelson quickly dismisses – although, yes, she does work hard, very hard.
