From old school through to modern country, Liam Kennedy-Clark’s new EP, aptly namedTravelling Lines, has something for everyone and incorporates all that makes this young musician stand out.
A multi-instrumentalist as well as gifted singer-songwriter, Kennedy-Clark has spent a lot of the past few years touring with the likes of Adam Harvey, Lee Kernaghan, The Bushwackers, James Blundell and more, as well as a lot of time in his home studio. Music flows through his veins and with influences like Vince Gill, Merle Haggard, and Glenn Frey, there’s no hiding his “Old Country Soul.” Throw that into the mix with his modern idols, Brad Paisley and Keith Urban, and you have the recipe for an authentic country sound.
Distributed digitally through indie record label Social Family Records, Kennedy-Clark’s new EP,Travelling Lines, features five country tracks, 2 of them written by Kennedy-Clark himself, including the lead single, Smile Like That and track 5, Empty Bottle of Wine. Track 2, Another You, comes from the pen of Morgan Evans and Sarah Conlan, with Kennedy-Clark joining with Allan Caswell and Phil Doublet to co-write Just One More Dance and Same Old Town.
